WHEN GOD CALLS YOU OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
Scripture Reading: Genesis 12: 1-4
Hello everyone, and welcome.
Today I want to share what happens when God calls us out of our comfort zone.
Many of us want God’s will for our lives, but we often want it to happen while remaining comfortable and in control.
The truth is that when God calls us, He often asks us to step into places that are unfamiliar. He asks us to trust Him beyond what we can see.
Throughout the Bible, we see God calling people out of their comfort zones.
He called Abraham to leave his country and go to a place that God would show him.
He called Moses to stand before Pharaoh even though Moses felt inadequate.
He called Esther to risk her position and speak up for her people.
And He called the disciples to leave what was familiar and follow Him.
Many times, God’s greatest work in our lives begins when we are willing to trust Him and step beyond our fears.
There may be someone listening today who knows that God is calling them to do something new, but fear is holding them back.
I want to encourage you today: if God is calling you, He will also give you the grace, strength, and wisdom to obey Him.
Don’t allow fear to stop you from walking into the purpose God has for your life.
The place of growth is often outside of our comfort zone.
Trust God, take the step, and watch what He will do.
